For more extensive renovation work, and larger projects, call us for an estimate. General fee is $50/hr for one person or $80/hr for 2 ppl. Depending on the size of your project, plan to book as much in advance as possible, we can get quickly backed up for larger projects.
Specialized Plaster Repair
We are specialized plaster technicians, we can deal with damaged plaster in century homes. This is a particular process that sometimes takes place in short stints over multiple days. Depending on the size of the repair, our quotes will vary from $50/ hr - $80/hr for one person.
What you can do to save money, and time
Know what you need done. Make clear decisions about the scope of your project, your budget, and the materials you would like to use. We can help to make these fall in line, but we need to know what your expectations are. Do some research online if you want to see how other people have dealt with similar projects.
Planning, designing and preparing a space for a renovation all take time. We can help you with these elements, but we will charge you to do this "invisible" labour. If you are able to do any of this, this can be a huge cost saving.
Consider sourcing and acquiring materials yourself. Shopping is time consuming. Inevitable, but time consuming. The more of the material you can source and get yourself, the less running around we have to do, the less money you spend.
Can you start and finish? It may be that you are somewhat handy, and want to take on some of the project yourself to save some money. This effort is often best done at the beginning and the end. Can you do the demolition? Can you do the painting and finishing of details?
