" Tobey and Beth did an excellent job customizing our kitchen cabinetry. We had ordered base ikea kitchen cabinets but wanted some custom woodwork to surround the units. We had a general idea of what we wanted in our heads and they really helped us to figure out what would work in the space- not only functionally but also aesthetically. Tobey spent a long time speaking with us to understand what we wanted before preparing a quote. The quote she did provide was outstanding- not only did she take the time to break down each item and estimate its cost, she even communicated how she came up with her totals by specifying her estimated time and material costs for each stage. No other contractor we’ve worked with has given us this much transparency and detail in any quote- it really helped! Tobey and Beth always showed up when they said they would and made no promises that they couldn’t keep- rare in the contracting world it seems. They also cleaned up the work area very well at the end of each day so that we could use our kitchen as much as possible during construction. We highly recommend Stuart Black Renovations!
